The
Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS) Certification was created by
the NAHB Remodelers Council in collaboration with the other
organizations that deal with aging-in-place populations.
The Code of Ethics for CAPS
focus on accepting the responsibilities and obligations inherent in
providing remodeling services to this specific population. This involves
being current on public policies, rules and regulations prescribed by
law and government for the health, safety and welfare of the
aging-in-place clients.
The Code also requires the
remodeler to respect the opinions and concerns of clients without bias,
aging or stereotypes and complete projects with integrity and good
business practices. |
